Marina Blättler

Hut guardian

With fond memories of her partial season at the Mittellegi Hut in 2024, Marina is looking forward to running the hut with enthusiasm and passion this season and enjoying her time in this unique mountain setting. Marina will primarily be at the hut in July.

Denise Bärtschi

Denise and Marina met by chance in Japan while working in a bakery. Now Denise is looking forward to taking care of guests at the Mittellegi Hut from mid-August.

Fritz Brawand

As a mountain guide and native of Grindelwald, Fritz has a special affection for the Mittellegihut. He ensures the hut is in impeccable condition, manages supplies in the valley, and is often found at the hut due to his work as a mountain guide. 

Mirja Jesinger

Hut guardian

As Denise is still on the alp, Mirja will be stepping in for a week from August 4 to 11. A midwife and mother by profession, she has a great love for the mountains, enjoys cooking, and is very much looking forward to her second stint at the Mittellegi after 2020.
